2019 Update: we had an amazing Tween Summer Camp! Looking forward to the next one!
Join me for a unique and fun half-day Yoga, Mindfulness & Art summer camp! Campers will learn stress-reducing Mindfulness practices as well as strengthening and balancing Yoga poses. There will be yoga games, mindful eating practices, partner poses and more! Each day also includes fun art projects, such as making lavender eye pillows & meditation jars, and a Restorative Yoga rest. Yoga and Mindfulness practices are life-long skills that can help kids & tweens breathe more deeply, develop self-regulation skills, focus in school, manage stress, and sleep better. Campers are provided with a Thriveability canvas tote bag, Mindfulness CD, Journal, and art materials. Bring a water bottle and yoga mat. These are great camps for siblings and friends!
Location: Thriveability Yoga in West Portal, San Francisco
Day/Time: M-F, 130pm-430pm
“My daughter loved Lisa's camp! It was her first time doing yoga, and she was nervous to try something new. She walked out the first day beaming, and was so happy to return all week. She felt so accomplished mastering the poses, loved the art projects, and was calm and happy at home after camp every day. She's already looking forward to next year!”
— Marci, Mother of an 8th grader
“My daughter has attended Lisa's Summer Camp multiple times and she finds it both fun and relaxing. The summer sessions are great in that they combine yoga with art as well as mindfulness and meditation. They are age appropriate and teach much needed life-long skills for kids and teens. Highly recommend it!”
— Liza, Mother of an 8th grader
“My daughter had a lot of fun at camp this week. It was great for her to gain more exposure to yoga and mindfulness and to learn more so she can continue to practice on her own. It's so nice to find a space just for tweens and teens to practice mindfulness together.”
— Jen, Mother of a 7th grader
