I just learned this new approach to managing stress by Christopher Willard, Ph.D., author of "Raising Resilience". It's a wonderful new perspective and I hope you'll find it interesting and useful as well!
Check out his TED Talk to an audience of teens where he shares the latest research on the most stressed out American's (pst! it's teens!), teaches them simple mindfulness practices that not only changes their brain but also helps them to "attend and befriend" their stress, rather than run away from it in "fight or flight" mode.
