Join me for a healing afternoon at the beautiful beachside Enso Yoga as we come into alignment with the Autumn Equinox! This is a time to reflect back on the seeds you planted in the Spring and Summer, and cultivate what you’ve created (or release what is no longer serving you) to support you through the Fall and Winter months. This can be a particularly difficult time of year for some of us as we are inundated with all of the social activities and rich foods and sugary sweets, which can really throw us off balance. Take the time out to establish some healthy self-care practices that can help you stay in balance through the Fall and Winter seasons. Together, we can learn to care for ourselves while also being a role model to others. Open your heart to the path of loving self-care.

We will start with mindfulness practices and breathwork, setting intentions, journaling and chanting together. Then we’ll take a short walk to the beach for a Gratitude Circle and Loving-Kindness Meditation. We’ll return to the studio to express our creativity by creating Mini Altars to hold the energy of our intentions. We will close the day with a deeply restful Restorative Yoga practice and Closing Circle. Join like-minded souls and treat yourself to a relaxing day of nature, clarity, creativity, and self-care!

 

How Can Setting Intentions Help Me?

Setting intentions can help you maintain resonance with what you really want to be doing in your life. This is especially helpful when life gets really busy, in particular, as we enter the holiday season. The Autumn Equinox is the perfect time to set your intentions, so you can make choices each day that are in alignment with your intentions as you navigate the busy holiday season.

 

What Is Included?

A safe and supportive space to cultivate awareness and ease with like-minded conscious souls who are focused on wellness and self-care. Water, tea, and healthy snacks are also included. Journals and altar item materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own images, adornments and materials to work with. Yoga props, such as bolsters, blankets, and blocks are also provided, but feel free to bring your own eye pillow or favorite blanket/bolster for the Restorative Yoga practice.

What Do I Need to Bring?

Bring your own yoga mat and water bottle, and warm layers, a hat/sunglasses, and a beach towel for the Oceanside Meditation. For the Restorative Yoga session, bring socks if you tend to get cold. Also, start thinking about some of the intentions you want to set for the Autumn season.

How Do I Get There and Where Is Parking?

Enso Yoga is located at 131 Kelly Avenue, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019. From Hwy 1, turn west onto Kelly Ave. Take Kelly Ave all the way to the ocean. We are the last building on the right before entering Frances State Beach. You can park in the Enso lot, or if it happens to be full, you can park in the State Beach lot for $10. The State Beach is the last right after Enso.
